About Kathy Moore Fisher Kathy has specialized in the field of learning disabilities since 1985. She holds a Masters Degree in School Counseling and post-graduate certification as a school psychologist. Kathy has a wide range of experiences in the field of special education. She has taught youngsters with learning disabilities in the classroom as well as individual tutorials. In the private school sector she has worked with students in individual and group therapy and later served as an Admissions Counselor. Kathy has also worked in private diagnostic clinics and has served as a School Psychologist in the public school sector. Kathy is an effective communicator and is widely respected for her understanding of learning differences, modalities and disabilities. She has given numerous presentations to teachers and parent groups on learning disability issues. In addition, she has established admission procedures in private schools. Ms. Fisher provides diagnostic and consulting services to private schools throughout the Bay Area.
